Roller coaster !

I took a picture before going to Times Square.

My first time going to Times Square in Kuala Lumpur was on the twenty first February 2012. I planned going there with my friends a week earlier. We wanted a girls day out together. We planed on wearing the same colored shirts. We wore all pink and purple just to fit into the girlish looks.

We all decided that we would meet up at  UKM commuter station. We went on Monday. This is because we knew that Times Square would be filled with a lot of people on weekends and we may not get a chance to ride on the roller coaster for a second time. At 9.00 am everyone was already at the commuter station. There was only five of us which are Anis, Ruby, Aimi, Ilmi and I. We all bought our ticket to KL central which was RM4.60.  From KL central, we have to walk to LRT to get to Times Square. At LRT station we bought a token that cost RM1.20 to get to Hang Tuah station. From there we need to walk a kilometer to get to the centre of Times Square. We reached there at 11.30am.

Everyone was excited. We entered the counter and bought a ticket which was RM32.00 for adults. The ticket was very unique. It was curled into a bracelet or a band on your risk. You can enter or exit the Theme Playground anytime you want. In the Theme Playground there are fourteen games you can play. There was a Roller coaster, Dizzy Izzy, Loop to Loop, The Popcorn Basher, The Spinner, Car bang and a lot of other games. The Theme Playground opens at 9.00am until 11pm.

Since we did not want to waste the money we spent on to play these games. We went home at 8.00pm. We kept playing on each obstacles twice. But for the roller coaster we went on it seven times in a row. It was the best adventure ever. When  we got hungry we would exit the Theme Playground and go out to eat. It was very fun and exciting.

These are some photos of us in Times Square :

The Big Day

The big day i mentioned is actually the SPM result released. At this point all the student that took SPM exams in 2012 would be really scared and would prayed their hardest. This is because this result is main point to conduct our future. Without an excellent result or without passing all the subjects, you may not extend your studies in Universities or colleges. Its very devastating for those who did not pass their SPM examination. They may have to repeat or enter private college or even continue high school which is in form 6.

I had a week to go until SPM result came out and it was very scary. I had a lot of nightmares and could not think straight. My only worry was that i would dissapoint my family especially my parents. My friends had a high expectation on me and it burden me more. Everyone would want to know my result and it made me more anxious.

As days pass by, i got frighten and more nervous. Finally, the day had came by. It was on the twenty first March 2012 the official date for SPM result released. I woke up that morning and got ready to go to school and get my result. At 10am my mother dropped me in front of the school and went to work. I waited for my friend to come which is Aimi and get our result together. We did our prayers before getting our result.

Alhamdulillah.

Not A+ but my result was satisfying. I did my best but not my hardest and it finally showed in my SPM result which i got 5A's, 2B's and 3C's. I took ten subjects which was Mathematics, English, Malay, Islam, Biology, Chemistry, Additional Mathematics, Physics, History and lastly and extra subject that is Agricultural Science.

I have to say that these subjects that i took is very hard for me. I hated Chemistry. This is because i did not understand it very well. It was very hard for me to study and catch up on these subjects. Eventually my result were satisfying and it was all in Allah's will. :)

My First Job

As you can tell by the picture, it is shoe shop. After my SPM exam finished, i planned on getting a job. My result for SPM comes out on March and i had four month of holidays. I did not want to waste my time sitting at home doing nothing so i went out to look for a job. While shopping groceries with my mother at Warta shopping mall, i went to the shoe shop to look for shoes. The name of the shop was MG Shoe Collection. They have a bright yellow uniform. My mother tagged along and went looking for her shoes instead. I was not fascinated by the shoes. While my mother payed for the shoes she bought, she asked the counter if there was any job offered. The lady said they did not have enough staff  and needed more people especially girls. So she told me to follow and meet her boss for an interview. I was very nervous as i never went to an interview before. It was really unexpected. I followed her with my wet palm and met Miss Teh her supervisor. Their boss did not arrived so i had an interview with the supervisor. She saw me and asked where did i live and how old i was. She asked personal question and then told me to start working on the first January 2012.

As my first day of work arrived, i came at 10 am that's the time i have been told to come. I came with a white shirt and a pair of black jeans. When i came i saw two girls and one boy sweeping the carpets and dusting the shoes. I went to the counter and saw Miss Teh, the supervisor. She told me that the shop opens at 10 am  and closes at 10 pm everyday. There is no holiday. The shoe shop opens every single day even on public holidays. After that, she gave a yellow shirt for me to wear as it was our uniform. Unfortunately for me, the size was very huge which was XL. There was no other size so i had to wear it.

I met a few friends here at work. Which was Azam, Azim, Joe, Farah and Munirah. They were very friendly and helped me a lot. They gave me advises and showed me the way to the shoes storage. They were very nice and friendly.

I worked there for only a month. My salary was RM856.00. It was very satisfying but i was exhausted. There was only a day off for every week and 12 hours of work. I did not have any social life and spend less time with my family. After i got paid i quit and said my goodbyes. It was a worth full experience and taught me a lot of lessons. :)

Best Friends

My friends. :)

Today's story i am going to describe and tell you about my beautiful friends. I've been closed to them for a year and they are the best friend i could never replace. I met them in class. Our bond grew stronger together when we were form 5.

Based on the pictures, wearing the white dress is Aimi Amalina . She is very beautiful and lovely. She has the sweetest smile and her nose is very sharp. She has a brown colored clear skin tone and her eyebrows are pointing in which makes her complexion looks fierce. As you can see she is tall. Her height is 164cm. Her body shape is very rare. You can not tell by the pictures as the gown is covering her shape. But she has a longer waist line. She is very skinny and athletic. Her passion is more toward sports. She has a girlish personality. Her favourite colors are pink. For those who are not close to her, you may judge her that she seems really arrogant and hard to get along with. In fact she is sweetest yet a truly must have for a best friend.

Next to Aimi is Ilmi Ros Nabilah. Her name is very beautiful. She is very shy and she is less confidence when facing others. She is the tallest among us which is 168cm. As you can tell, her complexion is very cute and sweet. She is very fair and beautiful. She is the nerdiest best friend i have. She spends time reading books and novels. She is very striving and she loves cute stuff. Her obsessions are on weight. She takes care of her weight well and counts the calories she takes. She is not fat at all instead she is very normal and can be categorize as underweight.

Next to her is me, and next to me is Anis. Very short and very simple to pronounce her name. Anis just got back from England after her parents got their Phd. She entered our class in form 5. She is very shy and soft. If you don't start a conservation with her she would not start a conservation with you. After talking to her and getting to know her she is very simple and nice. She hates gossips and is very hardworking on striving her goals. Just a year in Malaysia and sitting the biggest exam which is SPM she strives a year for passing SPM with flying colors and finally her result was more then a satisfaction which she got 7A2B.

We are all very close and we still keep in touch. I miss every single memories we had together. Best friends like this is very hard to find and some times you just can not find one like them. These are my friends that i trust and respect. :') I miss them.

Sarawak

As you all know Sarawak is a part of Malaysia except it is separated by natural causes.
Sarawak is combined with Sabah. After i left Australia, i lived in Sarawak from 2004 until 2009 which was 9 years. Before this i lived in Sarawak when i was 6 years old. So the total years i lived in Sarawak was 11 years.

On my first day in school i was shocked by the classroom in Malaysia compared to Australia. There was a total difference. The classroom, the surroundings and the language was also different. Over here the rules are more strict and they even have uniforms. We have to carry tons of kilo's in our bag pack. At first i was not very comfortable and i needed to adapt to the situations. It took a while to get use to it.

When i entered the class everyone stared at me and asked me a lot of questions. It was very hard for me to understand. This is because they have a unique language that is different from Malay. It took me about four month to speak their language and understand it. From my talking they can tell that i am not a Sarawakian.

When you say Sarawak, people think it as a jungle or a forest and you wear loincloth and there is no city. Well, Sarawak is a native country. Native rule the land before Malay entered and develop the country into a city. It may not be as developed as Kuala Lumpur but it is more closely to it. The native still exist but the native nowadays are more developed. Sarawak is a city that are well developed. Not many forest are there now as logging are increasing to build more buildings.

When visiting Sarawak you have to try their layered cake. This cake is layered with a lot of layer and has different kind of taste. It needs skills to make this. Therefore every time visiting Sarawak, people would often purchase this layered cake.

This is an example of layered cake :)

Scout

When i first moved to SMK Jalan Reko, i started to join scouting. Girls that entered scouts are only 24 students. For the boys are 250 students. Not many of the students are active in scouting. This is because they are not interested in curriculum activities.

In scout you can achieve the highest rank which is King Scout. To achieve this you need to give it all you have. Even sacrifice your time in class. This is because for me i just entered scouting in form 4 and the next year i will be sitting for the examination to achieve King Scout. I was active in scout.

To achieve it you need five badges which is skill badges, badge expedition, service badge, badge of success himself, cultural badge. To achieve this badge you need to attend these five camps. After each camp you need to buy the badges. You will also need to write fifteen log books. One book for every camp. Since i just entered scouting i have to copy the contents of these books from my friend. Besides that, you will also need to memorize twelve knots and you need to perform the knots yourself.

Apart from that, you also have to learn how to make twelve gadget using bamboo stick. You need to provide your own bamboo, saw, knife and other instruments yourselves. You will have to memorize the Scouts national song and our national anthem. Other than that, you have to memorize the rank position of the scouts leaders.

Last and not least, you will be tested on your cooking skills. This means that you will be given a part of a chicken or fish, bread, egg or potatoes or rice for you to cook. You need to provide your own bamboo to cook the rice and leaves and dry sticks for lighting up the fire. This test is called Jungle Cuisine. You have to make sure your fire lights up by blowing it or fanning it, either way so your food will cook. If not you may fail this test.

Not everyone can past the test. Some may fail and repeat it if they want to. But it would cost a lot. I passed the test with flying colors and i got a certificate with our Sultan's signatures. Plus to differentiate you with the other scouts you are given a yellow Bushmentong. This is a yellow rope that is tied into a DNA knot. This knot will also be tested in the scout examination.

These are some photos of me with other scouts :)

My first day in school

I moved here in Kajang in 2010. After my PMR exam finished i started moving with my whole family. I satyed here for about 2 years. Before this i was studying in Sarawak. When i was form 4 which i was 16 years old i went to a new school named SMK Jalan Reko. At first i applied for other school which was
SMK Jalan Tiga and SMK Jalan Dua. Unfortunately my application failed due to many students in that school so the only options that i have was SMK Jalan Reko.

At first, the school's named sounded really weird. I did not want to enter the school. My parents told me that the school is full of Indians. Which i grew more afraid after knowing its mostly Indians. I thought i would not like it there therefore on my first day of school i did not get excited at all.

I woke up late which was at 7 am. The school opened for registration until 11am. After getting ready, we set out to register around 9 am. My school was not far from my house. It is only 4 km away which is a 10 minute drive using cars. As i entered the school i saw a lot of Malay student  more then Indian student. I came in and  head to the office for registration. I entered the room which was only two student who have not registered.

As i was waiting, i met new friends which was my class mate. The teacher came in and ask for my PMR result. Then she told me to enter the science stream class. She gave me direction to my classroom. My father sent me to the class. When i entered, there was no teacher. I came in and the boys showed me my table and chair. I sat right at the back next to Syarini, my new friend. My father said thank you to those who helped me and this is where it got funny. There was a boy named Azfar who was a prefect. He was not wearing a tie so my father asked him where was his tie. He said it was in his bag and my father told him to put it on if not the teacher will scold him. So he went and took his tie and wore it straight away. Then he shook my fathers hand and my father left. The class was laughing at that time.

As i was sitting down at my table. People around me asked my named and where i came from. I tried speaking in Malay's slang but they were weird by the way i talked. I said i was from Sarawak and they could here my raw language when i spoke Malay. I did not talk much because i did not have anything to say. I kept quiet for a while. Then in a week later i got used to the situations around me.

When you are a new girl in school you would always carry that feeling of afraid in your heart and that is what happened to me. :)

Memories in Australia

Memories are times where we go through it and start missing it or laugh and even cry after remembering it. Well, my memories in Australia are so beautiful that it made me cry a lot. When you visit other countries of course you miss it there unless you really hated the surroundings. Well i love it in Australia. The picture above is where i used to live. It was a long time ago but its still feels like yesterday. I lived there in 2000 until 2004.

We lived in Perth, Western Australia. My father got transferred there to continue his Phd. His university sponsored our family's ticket. We lived there for four years. It was all in Allah's sustenance for us to continue our study over there. I was year one in 2000 and entered Coolbellup Primary school. I was wearing my hijab when i entered the school. Everyone was staring at me. I was their center of attention when i entered the class. i had to seperate from the class due to my English. This is because i did not know how to speak in English. Luckily there was a teacher from Indonesia who could teach me English. It took  about a month for me to be able to communicate with the others. I soon began to mix with the society and met new friends. I met a girl from Indonesia named Achar, an aboriginal boy name peter, Kate, Charlotte and also other Australian friends.

The surroundings of the classroom was very attractive. It made me want to study and play around. The classroom were wide and big. In front of the classroom there are tables for us to do our work. In the center of the classroom there was a mini library for us to read books or even take a nap. In the back of the classroom there were pictures and arts stuff for us to draw and make sculptures with play dough. The classroom is conditioned. Even the floors are covered with woolly carpet.

Our class starts at 8.00 am and finishes at 3.00 pm. We have lunch time twice. Every time its lunchtime, we have to wear a hat to play in the sun if not we would get scolded. This is because we could get sunburn due to the heat. Over here has four season which is spring, summer, autumn and winter. On winter the only place that snows is in Sydney. Every morning, the streets would be filled with heavy fogs. its very hard for us to walk to school. Our school is only half kilometer. Its just right down the hill so we tend to not see clearly each morning.

Over here we had a couple of terrible things happened. It was on Friday night where my little brother were sleeping under the computer table right next to the window with my little sister. My parents were watching television while my other siblings were in their room sleeping. I, in that case were in the kitchen. All of a sudden we heard a window break. I ran into the living room and saw someone threw a brick into the window and it landed right  on the computer table. It was so close that it did not fell and hit my sisters head. I was so shocked and cried. My little sister and brother did not woke up eventually. The next day my parents reported it to the police stations. They had to repair the window and from that night on we were not aloud to sleep in the living room. It was believed that hatures among us threw it because we were Muslims and it seems that we are terrorist to some people.

Apart from some days where bad things happens. It is the most memorable memories i have. Living in Australia is a chance in a life time. Not many gets a chance like this. I'm thankful to be able to study abroad even for a short while Alhamdulillah :)

My Family

My beloved Family :)
This page will be concerning all about my family. As you can tell, I have a big family. There are eleven people in my family including my parents. I have nine siblings and i am the seventh. I like to think that i am the center of my family. This is because i have three brothers, three sisters, one little brother and one little sister. Not many of you know how it feels to have a sister or a brother so i know how it feels to have anyone of them because i am in the center.

When my parents were married, they wanted a lot of childrens because they can bear a big family. At first they did not expect to have nine children but it was all in gods will we were born. My parents got married on the first august 1985. They had a simple wedding which my mother wore a ''jubah" and my father wore a "baju melayu". They did not have a big ceremony. They got married at my grandparents village on my fathers side. They had a small Islamic marriage. My mother grew up in a small village in Kedah, Tokai. She has only a sister. My mothers parents died when she was 40 years old. At that time we were in Australia. My mother did not get a chance to pray and visit her parents. I was sad and empathy her. :'(

As for my father, he lived in Kelantan, Tanah Merah. He grew up with his uncle. This is because his uncle wanted a son for a long time so his mother let his uncle take care of him until he graduated high school. My father is the first child. He has 8 siblings. They are not close with each other but respects one another. My father works as a lecturer and my mother works as a teacher.

The eldest sibling is my brother Mohd Sulhi. He was born on the fifteenth February 1987. He is now 25 years old. He is getting his Phd this year and we are all praying for him. He entered university when he was 16 years old and now he is a part time lecturer in swasta's college. He is now waiting for an offer to continue his studies in England. As he is the first child so he wanted to show a good example for us and therefore he is now working and living his life travelling to other countries on holidays.

This is my eldest brother. Mohd. Sulhi.

For the second child is Nurul Busyra. She was born on the twenty fifth January  1988. She is now 24 years old. She is currently studying at Unimas in Sarawak. The second child is a fraternal twin with the third child which is Ahmad Mujaddid. He was born on the twenty fifth december 1988. They were born in the same year on the same date but in different month. The third child is now studying in IKBN. They are finishing their degree soon so this is their last year. They are very close to each other. Once when we were at the airport, we were waiting for our flight so we were heading to the main entrance and they both were pushing the trolley together and people were staring at them thinking they were married because they wore the same colour shirt together.

This is Nurul Busyra and Ahmad Mujaddid.

The fourth child is Nur Nabilah. At first, my mother wanted her name to be Nur Nabilah Hasanah. But unfortunately they missed Hasanah in the birth certificate so it was only Nur Nabilah. She was born on the twenty ninth November 1989. she is now 23 years old and currently studying in UITM Shah Alam. She is now on her second year in degree. She is very active in her club and association. Its really hard to contact her as for she is far and busy.

This is Nur Nabilah.

For the fifth child is Amir Sobirin. He was born on the twenty fourth July 1991. He is now 21 years old. He just graduated from diploma at German Malaysian Institute. He is a part time tutor on physics subject. He is tutoring as a private tutor. He is now making decision whether to continue in degree or not. But my parents persuaded him to keep continuing.

This is Amir Sobirin.

For the sixth child is Ummu Umairah. She was born on the twenty sixth January 1993. She is 19 years old. She is a year older then me. She is now currently taking her diploma at KPTM under UITM. She is not staying at her hostel. She shuttles from home to her college. She is closer with me because we spend a lot of time together. We tend to share secrets together and hangout a lot.

This is Ummu Umairah.

For the eighth child, is Munzir. He is still in school and currently studying at SMK Jalan Reko. he was born on the fourteenth August 1997. He is 15 years old is this year he is taking his PMR's exam. He is very addicted to Games and loves entering marching competition. He is very active in school for curriculum activities but needs a lot of tutoring in academics.

This is Munzir.

For the youngest child is Najwa Sarah. She was born on the first Febraury 1999. She is 13 years old this year and currently studying in SMK Jalan Tiga. She is an apple in my mothers eyes. My mother loves to treat her more because she is the youngest child. She loves to dress up and create her own style. She is very shy and hard to find a lot of friends due to her less confidence. But she is easy going around girls yet hard to talk to boys except those that are in her class.

This is Najwa Sarah.

My Biodata

My name begins with F and ends with N. Its FATNIN :)

Assalamualaikum. My name is Fatnin Bt Azman. This page that you are reading is a simple biodata about myself. I was born on 8 November 1994 which was on Tuesday. I was born in Kuala Lumpur, the center of Malaysia. I came out from my mothers womb at exactly at 10.25 am. My mother told me before i came out she was eating a piece of strawberry cake. Then her womb started to leach so my father had to rush quickly to the hospital before its too late. So my father quickly drove to the nearest hospital and in an hour i was born safely. My mother told me that i loved strawberry cakes because before i was born, an hour before it, she ate a slice of strawberry cake and maybe somehow it was passed down to me. :)
My friends and relative always ask the same questions which was "Who do you take after ? You don't look like your parents". Well, all my siblings have different looks. Some of my sisters and brothers takes after my mother and father. But for me, i take after my Grandparents. My parents are fair skinned. They have small eyes and thin lips. As for me, i have big eyes with long eyelashes and a thicker lips. I have a dark skin tone. When comparing to my siblings, we all have different looks so its really hard to tell that we are siblings.

Apart from that, my hobby is to read story books comics and novels. Besides that, i frequently activate my Facebook and Twitter account. I started making Facebook when i was 15. This was due by the influence of the trends in school. So i made an account and still uses it until now. It is the connection between my friends from all over the world. Recently i started using Twitter. This account helps me to express my feelings and chat among my friends. These days i have been spending a lot of time on internet as it is the best companion for me. Now i am starting to use Blogspot for my Bell class. I will soon start to grow passion in writing. Because i love expressing my feelings in to words and pictures. Taking pictures is also a part of my hobbies.

Other than that, my biggest hobbies are baking. I love baking and cooking. Either way i love both. My mother made me love cooking. She goes to work at 11am and comes home at 8pm same goes to my father. I usually stay home alone. As for my siblings, they are all busy with their education in university and college. So for me, i was waiting for my SPM results and therefore i had to stay home for 5 month alone. I had to clean the house and cook for my family, and that is where i started to love cooking. My mother teaches me to cook. When my family comes home, they would be starving. So i would cook anything that i could find in the refrigerator. Apart from that, my mother  recently bought a new oven. When i saw the oven i was full of excitement. I wanted to use it fully. So i started making cupcakes, muffin, bread and a lot of things i baked. I oftentimes make pizza, as its the easiest to bake.

Not long, my mothers birthday came up. It was on the 23 May. I wanted to bake a cake for her. Unfortunately, i did not have the ingredients to bake one. I had the ingredients for baking a cupcake only. So i baked thirty of them and my mother were surprised and touched. She is also a big fan of baking and that is why she bought an oven.

This is the cupcake that i made. :)
